This High-Protein Paneer Sandwich is a quick and delicious meal made with just 5 simple ingredients. Packed with the goodness of paneer and fresh veggies, it's perfect for a nutritious and satisfying bite in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 slices of bread (I recommend using sourdough or whole grain)
  • 100 grams Paneer / Cottage cheese
  • 1 small Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 small Capsicum (finely chopped)
  • ¼ cup Boiled corn (Optional)
  • Salt as per taste
  • Cheese Slice or Grated Processed cheese (Optional)
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper powder
  • 1-2 tbsp Schezwan Chutney

Instructions
 

Prepare the Stuffing

  • Grate or crumble the Paneer in a bowl.
  • Finely chop the veggies you choose, I have used Onion and Capsicum.Add the veggies into the Bowl and mix veggies and Paneer.
  • Into the bowl, add 1/2 tsp of salt and 1/4 tsp of black pepper powder, then mix.Add 1 tbsp of Schezwan Sauce to the bowl and mix the entire mixture
  • This step is optional, but if you want a creamy and gooey sandwich, add grated processed cheese to bind the stuffing together.

Assemble the Sandwich

  • Lay out the slices of bread. Place the mixture evenly on each slice . (Please note that you may put the cheese slice during this stage)
  • Place the remaining slices of bread on top to close the sandwich.

Grill and Serve

  • In a Pan or Sandwich maker, grill the sandwich until the bread is crispy and golden brown. (This step is optional)
  • Cut the sandwich as desired
  • Serve Hot
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Something Extra :
 
  1. Feel free to experiment with different veggies, you can use lettuce, avocado, or cabbage to enhance the taste and add more fiber to the sandwich.
  2. You can make it Vegan by replacing Paneer with Tofu, to enhance the flavor remember to saute it in the pan with herbs, before preparing the stuffing.
  3. Adjust the spice to your tolerance by having a control over the amount of Schezwan sauce you use.
  4. For Desi lovers , you may use Green chutney to enhance the sandwich to a greater level.
